Today is a blog about my child # 2... who just happens to come from a galaxy far far away....
Austin loves to pretend play.  It would be awesome to crawl into his imagination and take a look around.  There's sure to be lots of star wars fights going on in there.  He loves to jump on the trampoline and just leave the world behind.  Kicking and jumping along with all the "boy" sound effects.  My funny little jedi.  There is a battle of some sort in every episode of play time.  That must be a boy thing???  Who would have thought I would someday become an expert on star wars...Go ahead.  Ask me any question.  I've read all the books.  (not so much by choice)  Just being a mom.
Having little boys has made me realize how strangely funny the male species is.  I'm not sure I'll ever understand most of the things that are "cool" to them, but one things for sure...I will never stop laughing.  Austin is funny.  He is usually completely serious about things....that to me seem like, "you're joking right?"  Nope.  He's serious!   Dead serious.
He's a good kid.  Always trying to make others feel welcome and happy.  Not afraid to tell you how he feels about something.  Hmmm, wonder where he got that from?
Sure do love his energy.  Go to the gym?  Don't think I need to with two boys together, it's like taking a handful of aerobics classes each day.  They keep me moving.

Today I want to blog about my lovely Lily.  She is now in the second grade and turned 8 years old a few months ago.  She got baptized on a beautiful saturday morning.  Both Grandmas and Grandpas were able to come from Utah and be there with her.  It was a special, memorable day.  She enjoys playing the piano, making anything crafty, playing with friends, and sneaking out of her room to clean the house with mom after the boys have fallen asleep.  Our Lily is such a mild mannered easy child.  She's helpful and obedient.  A great example for siblings at the start of a family.  She is a very mothering person.  She can be a bit bossy at times...(Which turns out to be a great mothering quality)  She's growing up too fast for me.  She reminds me so much of myself.  Raising her has been like deja vu.  Everything is so familiar.

We Had A Baby!!

Well I started this Blog 3 years ago and I posted a few things on it then I never updated it once.  Hmmm.  I'm not sure why.  But mostly it could have something to do with time.  Why do other mothers find time to update their blogs?  Still working on that question.   
So today while checking it out...I noticed that my kids grew up a bit during these last 3 years.  Now I have erased the old and I'm on with the new, as it were. My goal for the future is to update it again before the next 3 year span.  Maybe I should raise the bar on my goals! 
We did have a pretty little lady come to our family September 2 2010.  Vivian Elaine.  Oh my goodness...do we love her?  Yes we do!!  All of us.  She receives much love from those around her.  She's a great sleeper which makes me happy.  A happy spirit.  The world around her is a bit chaotic.  But she seems to like it.
