It's Fun To Stay At The....

YMCA.  Not always.  The kids have been taking swimming lessons at the YMCA for the past few months.  Fun for them...not as much fun for me.  It's a lot of work to do the separate classes and deal with Vivian and dress and undress wet kids and towels and waiting.  The pool area is very humid and everyone else's parents are in there as well.  They are having a great time though.  While we are waiting during classes we often go play some racquetball or tennis.

All I'm trying to say is that fun times can also be tons of work. (for moms)  But kids gotta learn how to swim...I guess.

This is the kids last week of school.

New Pet

We usually consider Vivian as our pet.  She is surely treated as a new little puppy around here.  Everyone wants to hold her.  Play with her.  Harass her.  Love her.  She is still a novelty after 8 months.  I will admit she is a pretty fun pet.

However...this morning the boys...{**(thank heavens for little boys)**} caught a toad for a new pet.  It's toadally awesome toad season around here!  If you ask Lily "her" name in Toadalina.  If you ask the boys "his" name is Yoda!  Welcome to our family new friend.  You'll have stiff competition with a pretty baby girl!

Easter

Do you leave for church at 8 am?  We sure do.  The only time of the week that the kids are clean and somewhat put together looking is on Sunday mornings.  But since it's pushing it to even get everyone ready for church on time...there is rarely ever a moment for a photo of the kids together looking clean.  So Easter Sunday I decided to throw the kids on the couch before we left and see how many photos I could take in 3 minutes.  Here is what we got!  Happy Easter 2011!!!
